ELIGIUSZ PIETRZAK
Born in 1951.
Graduated from a fire-fighters college and specialises in fire protection issues, with which he has worked for the last 35 years, including 30 years at managerial and independent positions. His employment history includes positions and functions at the state fire brigade, industry, chemical industry, transport and local administration. He is the co-author of films connected with safety and produced by the local TVP in Lodz, Poland. Also, he is a co-author of an educational program and didactic materials used to familiarise community with the rules of the correct behaviour during fires and other commonly occurring threats. He is a co-author of “Communal Based Fire Prevention System” (“Gminny System Profilaktyki Pożarowej”) and a co-founder and long-serving chairman of the State Association of Communal Fire Prevention (Krajowe Stowarzyszenie Profilaktyków Pożarnictwa Gmin).
